Octagon Stainless Steel Parasol Construction [Short Product Description]

We have developed a heavy–duty parasol concept based on a one–column system
that can carry one, two, three or four parasols, depending on what is most suitable
for the actual terrace. The column is fixed on submerged half cubic meter steel and
concrete fundament with four stainless bolts, so it can be removed in wintertime
for warehousing. A unit with four parasols covers about 50 square meters.

The fabrics consists of an acrylic coated polyester textile with the logo printing on the
flounces, hanging down from the sides 30 centimeter. They will be dry–cleaned with
our special program that does not affect the printing. The fabrics will normally last at least
three seasons and the construction over ten years if properly handled and well maintained.

The construction can endure winds up to 15 meter per second when the parasols are opened.
Should the worst occur that a very sudden and strong wind should hit the unit when it is
opened, it is easy to shift a few parts that could get twisted by the extreme wind force.

The customer benefits from an increase of sales due to the better visibility and the increased
attraction the Octagons provides the restaurant. There are fewer problems with the winds and
the personnel finds the unit convenient to open and close just with the help of a crank.
